Defending Little Tokyo

Arai Mitchell successfully resolved two litigations on behalf of popular restaurants in Los Angeles' Little Tokyo.

In Mageno v. Mon Restaurant Group, a visually impaired plaintiff alleged that Mon Restaurant Group and Mon Group California maintained a website for Marugame Monzo Restaurant that was not accessible to her. We negotiated a settlement on behalf of defendants pursuant to which plaintiff dismissed the case with prejudice.

In Takaki v. Vortex International Food, a manager at Torigoya Restaurant alleged employment misclassification and violations of wage and hour laws. We participated in an extended mediation and successfully negotiated a settlement agreement on behalf of the defendant. Plaintiff dismissed the case with prejudice.
